Typically of the Cotswolds, there are many wonderful manor houses and gardens here such as Sudeley Castle with its 1,000 years of Royal History.

Religion has left its mark at the monastic ruins of Hailes Abbey, formerly a Cistercian Monastery and the 900 year old Tewkesbury Abbey with its magnificent tower.

Look out for pottery from local craftsmen working at Winchcombe, or have a fabulous family day out reliving the days of steam on a Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway round trip of the Cotswolds.
